The IB Diploma involves taking classes and passing written examinations in a broad range of subjects. The program also requires that students perform community service, participate in music and arts, and take a course called Theory of Knowledge, which explores how different disciplines come to create their bodies of knowledge. Ian Feldman attended the IB Diploma Program at Chicago’s Lincoln Park High School, which has been recognized as one of the leading IB programs in the country.
