International Baccalaureate Diploma Recipient

The International Baccalaureate is a UNESCO NGO which administers an international network of schools whose curricula meet standards the organization believes makes the students suitable for admission to higher education institutions. The IB Diploma involves taking classes and passing written examinations in a broad range of subjects. The student is also required to study certain subjects in depth, going beyond the course requirements of standard high school or Advanced Placement classes. The program also requires that students perform community service, participate in music and arts, and take a course called Theory of Knowledge, which explores how different disciplines come to create their bodies of knowledge. Ian Feldman attended the IB Diploma Program at Chicago’s Lincoln Park High School, which has been recognized as one of the leading IB programs in the country.
